Athens based Visual Artist. Dimos Klimenof is a costume and set designer and an upcoming anthropologist. Born and raised in a small town of central Greece, before starting a career in theater making, he studied Fashion and Costume design. Currently is studying Social and Cultural Anthropology at Panteion University of Athens.

Dimo’s aesthetic approach is arising from his hybrid queer identity and urban culture through his interest in pop culture and his deep balkan origins.

He has worked as a costume and set designer with a variety of Greek theater directors and collectives. He also assisted the director and performer Euripides Laskaridis for two years in the creation of latest work (Tourne, Mando, Camares). As a performer he worked with the collective Nova Melancholia (Spleen). With director Yiannis Panagopoulos and actress Zoe Mylonas funded the theater company “Novus” and organized for two years in a row theater workshops focused on queer teenagers ``Understanding the meaning of Others”. Lastly he has worked as creative director for TV commercials as also for TV campaigns raising awareness for HIV status, “U=U” and marriage equality.

His latest studies in cultural anthropology opened up a whole new perspective in performativity and the exploration of personal identity.
